The African Private Security Governance Observatory held its Annual Conference on 8th and 9th October 2018 at Golden Tulip Hotel in Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya under the theme; “Promoting oversight and accountability of the private security sector in Africa.”

Francophone Steering Committee Elections

After its first full year of operation, the Francophone Steering Committee drafted an election process in order to have the first rotation of Steering Committee members among the member CSOs. This first rotation of the Francophone Steering Committee happened in July 2018.
